Social skills aren’t only important for helping teens to make friends and build/maintain relationships—they also play a significant role in teens' mental and emotional health. Adolescents is grades 8-10 often face significant challenges such as peer pressure, social media stress, identity exploration, navigating cliques, and more.

Our Social Skills Group will help your child…

  • Learn how to use appropriate conversational skills and make connections with others through humor, respect, and the sharing of common interests.

  • Gain a better understanding of their peers’ emotions and help them to express their own feelings in a healthy way.

  • Become equipped with the skills to handle tough situations and conflicts, such as arguments, disagreements, rejection, teasing, and bullying.

  • Feel seen, heard, and validated by connecting with others who can relate to them in a safe, honest, and supportive environment.
