Support Group for Orthodox Jewish Parents of LGBTQ Youth

An in-person therapeutic support group for Orthodox Jewish parents who have children or teens who currently identify as LGBTQ or are in the process of exploring their identity.

Parenting a child or teen who identifies as LGBTQ or who is trying to figure out their identity can bring up complex emotions, questions, and challenges, especially within the Orthodox Jewish community.

Group members will have a safe, supportive, and confidential space to process their experience and connect with others navigating a similar experience.

This group is for parents who are…

  • Navigating their child’s or teen’s exploration of their gender identity and/or sexuality

  • Balancing religious values, family relationships, and community expectations

  • Experiencing feelings such as fear, grief, confusion, shame, guilt, or isolation

  • Seeking therapeutic support in a nonjudgmental, respectful, and confidential group setting
