We are offering new clients a discounted rate of $75 per session for their first 5 therapy sessions with Emily Johnson, LMSW/LSW.
Emily’s standard fee is $225 per session.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a compassionate, practical approach that helps you handle stress, anxiety, and self-doubt more effectively. It teaches you how to respond to difficult thoughts and feelings with more flexibility while moving toward what matters most to you.

A good way to start is by scheduling a free 15-minute intake call with our intake coordinator. During this call, you can share what you’re looking for, ask questions, and get a sense of whether Emily’s style and expertise feel like the right match for you.
Emily works with older teens, college students, and young adults who may be navigating anxiety, stress, neurodivergence, relationship issues, perfectionism, life transitions, or feeling stuck or overwhelmed. If you’re unsure, that’s okay. The intake call is a low-pressure way to explore your options and make sure you’re connected with the support that fits you best.

Your first session will be a 60-minute intake focused on getting to know you, your goals, and what’s been bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk about your background, current concerns, and what you’re hoping to get out of this work, while making sure you feel comfortable and supported.
After the intake, ongoing sessions are 45–50 minutes and focus on building skills, increasing self-understanding, and working toward meaningful change.
The promotional rate applies to the first five sessions only. Toward the end of that period, we’ll check in about next steps and discuss options for continuing therapy if it feels like a good fit.

At the end of your first five sessions, we’ll check in together about how therapy is feeling and whether continuing feels like the right next step. If you choose to continue working with Emily, her standard fee is $225 per session.
If that fee feels out of reach, we can also discuss sliding scale options based on availability. For clients with out-of-network benefits, we use Thrizer to submit claims on your behalf, which may help lower your out-of-pocket costs depending on your insurance plan.
