Summer Social Skills Group for Kids
A neurodivergent-affirming summer group for children who are ready to build confidence, strengthen social skills, and make meaningful peer connections in a supportive environment.
Located at our office in Teaneck, New Jersey.
For children in grades 1-3
Social skills aren’t only important for helping children make friends—they also play a significant role in emotional wellbeing, confidence, and success in everyday social situations.
Children who struggle socially may feel shy, left out, frustrated, misunderstood, or anxious when interacting with peers. For some children, challenges with emotional regulation, anxiety, ADHD traits, or social confidence can make friendship-building feel especially hard.
Our Summer Social Skills Group will help your child…
Learn how to start conversations, join in play, and build friendships
Strengthen conversational skills, turn-taking, and active listening
Gain a better understanding of others’ emotions while learning to express their own feelings in healthy ways
Build tools to manage frustration, anxiety, and big feelings in social situations
Learn how to navigate disagreements, misunderstandings, and peer conflict
Feel seen, supported, and more confident connecting with peers in a safe and encouraging environment
