Is your child constantly worried, easily overwhelmed, or melting down over things that seem small but feel huge to them?

Are mornings a struggle, homework a battle, or emotions escalating quickly at home or at school?

The parents who reach out to me are often feeling stuck, worried, and unsure how to help their child feel better, especially when they have already tried reassurance, structure, or consequences and nothing seems to stick.

Some families come in because their child’s anxiety is showing up as avoidance, irritability, perfectionism, or frequent reassurance-seeking. Others are concerned about behavioral challenges, emotional outbursts, or a teen who has become withdrawn, defensive, or hard to reach. Parents of college students often notice rising anxiety, low mood, or difficulty managing independence, responsibilities, and expectations.

If your child is neurodivergent, you may be struggling to support them through feelings of difference from peers or overwhelm related to social, emotional, or sensory demands. Teens struggling with gender identity or questions around sexual orientation, especially within the Orthodox Jewish community, often also wrestle with belonging and confusion around how to integrate different parts of their world.

Therapy can help children, teens, and young adults make sense of what they are feeling and learn how to manage those feelings more effectively. My work focuses on helping young people develop practical coping skills, emotional awareness, and confidence, while also helping parents better understand what behaviors are communicating. Many families begin to see fewer emotional explosions, improved communication, and a calmer home environment over time.

My approach blends empathy with practical tools, using evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Play Therapy. Our work together is collaborative and compassionate, with a strong emphasis on creating a safe, judgment-free space where meaningful change becomes possible.

If you're ready to get started, I'm here to help.
