Teen Group Therapy
A neurodiversity-affirming in-person teen therapy group for adolescents in New York and New Jersey seeking support, connection and personal growth to improve their mental health and relationships
A social skills group for high school teens ages 14-18 who are looking to feel more confident, connected, and less alone in a school environment that doesn't always make room for different ways of being social.
Group members gain a clearer read on social situations—making sense of unwritten social rules instead of just memorizing scripts—while developing self-advocacy skills to speak up about their needs and set boundaries with peers and adults. They’ll be equipped with real tools for handling rejection, overwhelm, or awkward interactions and connect with other teens who have similar goals.
Teenagers face a lot of different challenges during this pivotal time in their development—there are hormonal changes, new academic and social pressures, family conflicts, societal expectations, and more.
Our Teen Therapy Group will help your teen…
Build invaluable social and emotional skills, such as conflict resolution, problem solving, and emotion identification and expression.
Openly talk about and explore important topics such as self esteem, anxiety, depression, body image, challenging family dynamics, friendship issues, and other mental health challenges.
Feel seen, heard, and validated by connecting with other teens who can relate to the struggles they are facing in a safe, honest, and supportive environment.
