Teen Group Therapy

A neurodiversity-affirming in-person teen therapy group for adolescents in New York and New Jersey seeking support, connection and personal growth to improve their mental health and relationships

virtual teen group therapy in new york and new jersey for anxious and depressed teenagers

A social skills group for high school teens ages 14-18 who are looking to feel more confident, connected, and less alone in a school environment that doesn't always make room for different ways of being social.

Our Teen Therapy Group will help your teen…

  • Build invaluable social and emotional skills, such as conflict resolution, problem solving, and emotion identification and expression.

  • Openly talk about and explore important topics such as self esteem, anxiety, depression, body image, challenging family dynamics, friendship issues, and other mental health challenges.

  • Feel seen, heard, and validated by connecting with other teens who can relate to the struggles they are facing in a safe, honest, and supportive environment.

Teenagers face a lot of different challenges during this pivotal time in their development—there are hormonal changes, new academic and social pressures, family conflicts, societal expectations, and more.

Is this group right for your teen?

If your teen tends to memorize social scripts that don't quite transfer to real conversations, this group helps them understand the why behind social situations, not just the what to say—building a real feel for unwritten cues instead of relying on rules.

They'll also practice speaking up for their needs and setting boundaries with peers and adults.

And when things get hard—rejection, overwhelm, awkward moments—they'll have real tools to handle it, alongside other teens working toward the same goals.
