Natalie Singer
Graduate Student Intern
You did the move, the new school, the next step everyone was sure would make life feel lighter. So why does the stress still show up on an ordinary Tuesday, in the middle of ordinary days?
We're told life's challenges get easier with time, with a fresh start, with a little more stability. Often they don't. Relationship struggles don't dissolve when you reach the next milestone, and anxiety and depression can show up no matter how good things look from the outside or how well you seem to have it all together.
The same is true for kids and teens, who feel the weight of a move, a new environment, or a sudden change just as deeply, even when they can't always put it into words.
That gap between how life looks and how it feels is real, and it's worth taking seriously, at any age.
I help clients of all ages build resilience and develop strategies to work through anxiety, depression, and the stressful transitions life keeps handing us, so they can move forward with more confidence and a little more peace.
