From High School to Yeshiva

For boys in their senior year of high school who want to feel ready and supported as they prepare to attend Yeshiva in Israel next year

Lead by Max Kirshblum, LSW

Going to Yeshiva is exciting, but being away from home can also be difficult, overwhelming, and lonely. A change this big can cause previously mild conditions to worsen, or can even trigger new ones.

Our High School to Yeshiva Group will help your teen…

  • Learn evidence-based skills to manage issues such as social anxiety, irrational or exaggerated thoughts, loneliness, and more.

  • Develop a plan to help them to stay organized, set healthy boundaries, navigate dorm life and living with roommates, and to implement healthy life and study habits that will set them up for success.

  • Feel mentally and emotionally prepared for the adventure they are about to embark on so that they can get the most out of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
